HR OFFICER (MILITARY)

As a HR OFFICER (MILITARY), GS-0201-12, you will perform the following duties:
1) Manages Force Support programs through subordinate supervisors and senior workers that supervise technical and administrative activities within organizational sub units. Assigns work based on consideration of project requirements, priorities, and functional unit responsibilities. Accepts, amends, or rejects work, which has been reviewed by subordinate supervisors. 2) Manages, directs, and administers military human resources and personnel programs for the assigned and supported organizations. Personnel programs include Recruiting and Retention, Installation Personnel Readiness, Officer Personnel Management, Enlisted Personnel Management, Military Personnel Data System (MILPDS), Military Personnel Section, Force Management, Career Development, Force Development. 3) Performs strategic planning in support of wing long-range objectives. Oversees organizational preparation necessary to accomplish Force Support programs essential to daily operations and mission readiness. 4) Performs other duties as assigned. Experience:
Experiences gained through military or civilian technical training schools, within the human resources business programs, are included as general experience qualifications. An applicant must have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-11 level or the equivalent in personnel and manpower core competencies:
Organization Structure, Requirement Determination, Program Allocation and Control, and/or Performance Improvement. In addition to analytical and problem solving abilities, positions at this level require specialized knowledge of all applicable merit principles and practices related to federal civilian, military, and National Guard technician personnel programs. Experience:
Must have specialized experiences in career broadening human resources programs such as, leading, planning and scheduling work in a manner that promoted smooth flow and even distribution of assigning work requirements. Candidate must have experience that included training and guiding employees on human resources military and/or civilian programs and assigning applicable tasks.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
