Are you interested in an opportunity to join a leader in the pump industry? We are currently seeking a new IT professional for our team.
This individual will be responsible for assisting with the development of new technology solutions, working with existing solutions to enable business growth and innovation and will provide user support and training of the ERP application.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties Works with business partners within one or more business processes to align technology solutions with business strategies.
Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand strategy requirements.
Serves as a team member assisting with the implementing, analyzing and supporting of the ERP system - by understanding its inner technical workings and how the company is utilizing the system and its related modules and interfaces.
Supports one or more moderately complex business processes and establishes and maintains liaison relationships with business partners and IT in order to provide effective technical solutions.
Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and may advise on options.
Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of business solutions.
Documents current business processes, models, and creates training materials.
May analyze client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities for improvement.
Provides input from a business and IT perspective.
May assist in the business process redesign.
Provides assistance in business case development (i.
e.
research, data collection).
Develops user test cases, executes tests, and validates test results.
May investigate, resolve and escalate problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
Keeps clients informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.
May manage client expectations and analyzes performance metrics to ensure client satisfaction.
Proactively seeking ways to automate and streamline processes.
Interfacing and working collaboratively with other Business Analysts and the Application Development team.
Traveling to other company locations as required.

S.
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Management is preferred or equivalent work experience.
Solid project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
Experience Required Generally has 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Required Knowledge Knowledge and working experience of database design and management is preferred.
Requires working knowledge of business operations and systems requirements processes.
Skills/Abilities Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows OS versions.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Excellent written, listening, and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and non-technical language.
Solves business needs with initiative and sound judgement.
Takes the initiative in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving program errors or database issues.
Ability to conduct research into ERP issues and products.
