The hours for the position are 8:
30-5pm, Monday through Friday with some additional Sundays throughout the year to handle bank holidays with respect to payroll processing.
The insurance/payroll coordinator is responsible for handling and maintaining patient medical and employee pay information in a confidential manner.
The insurance specialist should understand billing and insurance companies.
This person will be responsible for assisting in verifying insurance coverage and health information, and have some familiarity with patient benefits.
This person will verify employees' working times, enter time and fix any discrepancies that may appear.
The coordinator also ensure that all employees receive the correct payment for their job roles, as well as being responsible for payroll accounts and will work with other departments in the organization.
Our coordinator is also responsible for obtaining financial data for use in maintaining payroll processing and provides support to the business office.
He/she/they will actively work to support the facility mission of providing an environment of safety where residents feel empowered to heal the wounds of the past and build a foundation of hope for the future.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, dependable, focused, very organized, exhibit advanced knowledge in Microsoft suite, specifically Excel, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Familiarity with the Kronos time keeping system is a plus.
Strong computer skills are a requirement for this position.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
