00 Duties and Responsibilities of Mill Stackers:
Responsible for wearing the proper mandatory safety gear in designated areas/situations, and assure all machine guards are in place.
Responsible to uphold the Company's Mission, Vision and Values.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures and OSHA guidelines.
Must package material to correct size bundle.
Assure wood, steel bands and seals are properly applied.
Verify end condition of the material and weld seam.
Responsible for surface quality of product being stacked and bundled Checks quantities, tolerances, tube quality and packaging requirements according to the Customer specifications on the work order.
Maintain a clear and clean work area.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Requirements of Mill Stackers:
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs Must be able to twist, bend and lift repeatedly Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, state and local standards.
